DESCRIPTION:

You have knowledge of industry standards TJC, Medicare, OSHA, regulatory standards, knowledge of continuous improvement, change management and emergency preparedness? We are currently seeking an individual with the following qualifications:
Strategic Planning - Establish priorities for division growth and enhancement based on customer need, research findings, and industry trends.
Fiscal Management - Prepare the operating and capital budget for the divisions.
Customer Satisfaction - Collaborates with all customer groups (patients, department/hospital staff, physicians and other customer groups), to meet and exceed needs/expectations.
Continuous Improvement - Use benchmark data from internal and external sources to identify opportunities for improvement of care and patient safety.
Professional Accountability - Network with peers in State/Region/Nation to share ideas and conduct mutual problem-solving.
Operations - Plan organize, and delegate activities as required for the safe, efficient, and effective operation of the department including active participation with other hospital and leadership staff to accomplish this objective.
Human Resources - Oversee the effectiveness of the department recruitment and retention program, taking action as necessary to provide and adequate level of qualified staff.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of nursing required
Master's degree preferred

EXPERIENCE
Five – Seven years of progressive management experience is required.

LICENSURE
Licensed in the state of Texas is a requirement.
